The work, from start to finish

Work orders with the customer attached

Keep customer and property details, work-order lines, photos and completion notes together. Follow linked records instead of copying the same customer information between tools.

Appointments and technician assignments

Review the appointment board, assign technicians and use the technician map for dispatch context. Field staff can open My Day to see their assigned work.

Field details stay with the visit

Record work-order details, photos and completion notes where the work happens, giving the office a shared record of the service delivered.

Recurring maintenance work

Set up maintenance plans and recurring work-order generation. Review the resulting work and assignments rather than rebuilding every repeat visit from scratch.

Project Crews for longer jobs

Plan customer-work crew deployment in Project Crews with calendar views. Keep this separate from project task dependencies and employee shift planning.

Service work connected to billing

Keep service work linked to customers and Accounting so the work-order-to-invoice workflow retains its context. Desk can also create customer work orders from a conversation.

Connected work. Separate companies.

Keep working in the active company, with the records and permissions assigned to your role. Linked information brings the field and office together without merging company data.

Before you get started

Is Dispatch the same as employee scheduling?

No. Dispatch assigns people to customer work, including Project Crews. People manages employee shifts and availability; Projects manages project phases and task schedules.

Can technicians see their own day?

My Day provides a technician-facing view of assigned work. Available screens and records depend on the person's company access and permissions.

Does the map automatically optimize routes?

A technician map supports dispatch decisions. Automatic route optimization is not promised; coordinators remain responsible for assignments and travel planning.

Can customer emails become work orders?

Desk offers a work-order creation action for linked customers when the person has the required Dispatch access. The conversation and work record can stay connected.
