The work, from start to finish

Customer billing with context

Prepare quotes and invoices, record payments and review statements. Open linked customer and project records to understand what was billed and what remains outstanding.

Progress billing against the contract

Bill project progress against a contract amount. Review invoiced-to-date, paid amounts, open balances and the amount left to bill alongside the project.

Vendor bills through payment

Record bills and vendor credits, review approvals and pay bills. Combined payments preserve each bill's allocation while representing the money sent as one payment batch.

Match banking to recorded work

Use supported bank connections to bring in transactions, match recorded activity and reconcile accounts. AI bookkeeping suggestions are proposals to review—not permission to silently pay bills.

Actual double-entry books

Use a chart of accounts, journal entries and financial reports. Labor, bills and expenses can carry project coding so operational costs and accounting stay connected.

Separate books for each company

Switch between companies in one session. Each keeps its own ledger, customers, settings and access. Sharing a subscription does not merge company books.

Connected work. Separate companies.

Keep working in the active company, with the records and permissions assigned to your role. Linked information brings the field and office together without merging company data.

Before you get started

Is this accounting, or just an export?

Zepfolio has its own double-entry ledger, customer and vendor transactions, banking workflows and financial reports. It is not merely an invoice export.

Can we import from QuickBooks?

QuickBooks import workflows include switching-company and acquisition modes. Review the supported records and historical-versus-working treatment before migration; do not assume every QuickBooks record or feature transfers unchanged.

Does payroll include tax filing?

No native payroll tax filing service is promised. People supports hours preparation, advances and recording externally processed payroll results; Accounting handles the related ledger mapping.

Will AI make accounting changes without review?

ZepBot can prepare bookkeeping proposals for approval. Authorized users review financial actions through the existing accounting workflows.
